Psychotherapy & Counseling Services

A Space for exploration, understanding and growth

Life’s challenges can sometimes feel overwhelming, leaving us searching for clarity, connection, and relief. My psychotherapy and counseling services offer a safe, compassionate, and confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. Together, we’ll work to untangle patterns, address deep-seated challenges, and create pathways to a more fulfilling life.

My Approach

My work is deeply rooted in a humanistic and integrative approach, meaning I tailor our sessions to your unique needs and experiences. Drawing from a blend of methodologies, I offer a space for reflection, emotional processing, and growth:

Existential Therapy: Exploring the deeper questions of meaning, purpose, and identity in your life.

Psychodynamic Therapy: Understanding how past experiences and relationships influence your present emotions and behaviors.

Gestalt Therapy: Focusing on present-moment awareness, helping you integrate your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations.

Trauma-Informed Practice: Providing a safe and supportive environment to process past trauma, fostering resilience and self-empowerment.

Relational Focus: Working within the dynamic of the therapeutic relationship to bring awareness and insight into how you connect with others.

This open-ended, exploratory approach allows for flexibility, whether you’re looking to work through specific challenges or delve into a more comprehensive self-discovery journey.

Who Is It For?

Psychotherapy and counseling can benefit anyone who is navigating:

Emotional Difficulties: Anxiety, depression, grief, or overwhelming emotions.

Trauma & Past Wounds: Exploring how unresolved experiences shape your present life.

Relationship Challenges: Patterns of conflict, disconnection, or difficulty maintaining healthy boundaries.

Transitions: Life changes such as relocation, career shifts, or the end of a relationship.

Cultural Identity & Belonging: For expats and migrants, exploring identity, loss, and life between cultures.

A Desire for Self-Understanding: Gaining insight into who you are, your needs, and your aspirations.

How we work together

Therapy is a collaborative process, and I believe the relationship we build is at the heart of our work. Our sessions are a shared space where you can feel truly seen and heard, with no judgment or pressure. Whether you’re seeking short-term support for a specific issue or feel ready to embark on a deeper, long-term exploration, I’ll walk alongside you as we uncover new possibilities and paths forward. We can work in the following ways:

- Single session consultation: a 2 hours conversation to unpack your challenges and work through with an action step. This is great if you've done therapy before but there is something specific that you'd like to work through but for some reason haven't been able to figure out yet. Maybe I can offer you a new perpective or prompt with questions that may help you reach insights.

- Open ended therapy: This is ideal if you want a space to explore without any constraints or deadlines. You show up consistently for our weekly appointment and as psychoanalysis would say, just 'free associate'.

- Solution focused therapy: This modality is informed by Cognitive Behavioural techniques and aims to provide you with actionable tools to help create healthier habits (or break unhealthy ones), help you reach a goal. Here we work with a specific therapy plan within a specified timeframe. You might want to work for 3, 6 or 9 months to achieve your therapy goals. We can collaborate and create a plan.
